US spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $110.2 million in combined net inflows across Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana on October 28, 2026, as renewed demand for Bitcoin investment products outweighed continued withdrawals from alternative cryptocurrency funds.
According to data from Farside Investors, US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $137.3 million during Wednesday’s trading session, marking their third consecutive day of net inflows. Ethereum ETFs experienced $21.4 million in withdrawals, while Solana investment products recorded $5.7 million in net outflows.
The latest figures reflect diverging institutional demand across the three cryptocurrency markets, with Bitcoin maintaining positive momentum following substantial redemptions earlier in the month.
Bitcoin funds have accumulated $423.6 million across the three trading sessions beginning October 26, partially reversing the $773.5 million withdrawn on October 22 and 23.
BlackRock dominates Bitcoin ETF inflows
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, trading under the ticker IBIT, accounted for $136 million of Wednesday’s Bitcoin ETF inflows, representing approximately 99% of the category’s total net subscriptions. Bitwise’s Bitcoin ETF, BITB, attracted the remaining $1.3 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC, ARK Invest’s ARKB, Grayscale’s GBTC and other listed Bitcoin products reported no net flows.
The concentration underscores BlackRock’s dominant position in the US spot Bitcoin ETF market, where its flagship product has accumulated approximately $66.5 billion in net inflows since launching in January 2024. Fidelity’s FBTC ranks behind IBIT with approximately $10.4 billion in cumulative inflows, while Grayscale’s original GBTC continues to carry nearly $28 billion in cumulative net redemptions.
Across all US spot Bitcoin ETFs, cumulative net inflows have reached approximately $57.7 billion. Wednesday’s positive performance followed $176 million in inflows on October 27 and $110.3 million on October 26, suggesting renewed Bitcoin ETF demand despite broader cryptocurrency market volatility.
However, inflows remained concentrated in two products rather than reflecting widespread buying across the ETF market.
Ethereum and Solana funds extend withdrawal streaks
Ethereum ETFs recorded $21.4 million in net redemptions, marking their third consecutive negative session. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust, ETHA, registered $44.8 million in withdrawals, outweighing inflows of $18.8 million into Fidelity’s FETH, $3.6 million into Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust and $1 million into Morgan Stanley’s MSSE.
The latest outflows followed withdrawals of $88.6 million on October 26 and $60.2 million on October 27, bringing Ethereum’s three-session net redemptions to $170.2 million. Despite the recent selling, US Ethereum ETFs have accumulated approximately $12.6 billion in net inflows since their introduction in July 2024.
Solana ETFs meanwhile recorded $5.7 million in net withdrawals, driven by Bitwise’s BSOL fund. This followed outflows of $19.2 million and $8.2 million during the preceding two sessions. Combined, Solana funds have experienced approximately $33.1 million in withdrawals across the three trading days.
The October 28 figures illustrate a divergence in institutional cryptocurrency allocations, with Bitcoin products attracting fresh capital while Ethereum and Solana face continued redemption pressure. Whether this represents a sustained shift toward Bitcoin or a temporary repositioning remains dependent on subsequent fund flows and broader market conditions.
